Put Your Mind at Ease with 3D Secure & Strong Customer Authentication

3D Secure (3DS) helps increase the overall security level of your online payments. This process has been further enhanced with the introduction of the Strong Customer Authentication (SCA).

Strong Customer Authentication

Strong Customer Authentication is a new regulatory requirement designed to make your online purchases safer and even more secure.

What makes Strong Customer Authentication different from 3D Secure

SCA is an additional step that has been added on top of 3D Secure to the process of purchasing goods or services online. You will now be asked to insert a personal password, followed by a one-time password (received via SMS). This personal password is set by yourself using myAPS internet and mobile banking.

How to set your personal password

If you already use myAPS internet and mobile banking
If you’ve already set the password up once and need to reset it

Please note our Contact Centre cannot change your password for you, nor can they ask you for this password. This is personal and should never be shared.
