What is direct debit cashback?

With direct debit cashback, you can earn 0.50% cashback on eligible direct debit payments, up to €5 each month. Cashback is applied automatically, so there are no extra steps once you set up your direct debit.

If you make eligible direct debit payments during the month, your cashback will be calculated on those payments and credited to your account the following month. You can benefit from this feature if you have an APS Online Account or an APS Student Online Account.

How does direct debit cashback work? 

Every month, we add up your eligible direct debit payments. Your cashback is then paid into your account automatically the following month.

In this example:

• Eligible direct debit payments: €300.00 (pension plan and car payment).
• Cashback earned: €1.50 (0.50% of €60.00 and 0.50% of €240.00 which is then summed up).
• The cashback is paid into your account automatically at the beginning of the following month.

How can I benefit from direct debit cashback?

To earn cashback, your payments must be made by direct debit.

If you already pay a bill by direct debit with an eligible service provider, you do not need to do anything. We will calculate your cashback automatically. If you do not currently pay by direct debit, contact your service provider to check if they offer this payment method and ask them to set it up.

Only payments collected by a service provider through a direct debit are eligible. Card payments, standing orders and other payment methods do not qualify.
