The APS Bank Football Team participated in the 10th edition of the Champions Bank Tournament, held between 2 and 4 October 2026, finishing among the top eight teams out of 25 participating European banks. The team progressed to the quarter-finals, continuing the Bank’s involvement in the tournament since its inception in 2014.
Beyond the competition, the tournament provided an opportunity for colleagues to strengthen relationships, encourage teamwork and promote physical activity and wellbeing.
Arnold Buttigieg, member of the APS Bank Sports Committee, commented: “We are proud of the team’s performance and the commitment shown throughout the tournament. Having participated since the first edition in 2014, this event continues to provide a valuable opportunity to connect with colleagues, strengthen team spirit and promote the importance of sport and wellbeing.”
