Josef Portelli, CFA

Josef has a degree in Accountancy from the University of Malta and was awarded the CFA designation in 2005.  He started his portfolio management career with HSBC in Malta in 2002, then moved to London in 2005 where he managed fixed income portfolios with ACPI Investments and then headed the discretionary bond portfolio offering at RBC Investment Management UK.  In 2012 he joined Invesco Asset Management in London, managing the firm’s flagship global bond funds. In 2018, he joined APS Bank in Malta to head ReAPS Asset Management, managing the business and overseeing its funds and portfolios.  He is experienced in business management, portfolio management and investment process re-engineering.
