This month, APS Bank plc supported the Art4MCCF exhibition ‘Sculptura’, curated by Melanie Erixon, at San Anton Palace.  Proceeds from this exhibition went towards the noble work done by the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation (MCCFF), while also promoting the work of Malta’s artistic community.

The fundraising activity builds on the success of the exhibition organised last year, ‘But I see Beauty’ which was also supported by the Bank. This year’s exhibition exclusively showcased sculptures, providing a curated representation of Malta and Gozo’s current artists in the sculpting scene. Esteemed artists presented their works, utilising diverse media, including metal, clay, fabric, plaster, globigerina limestone, resin, bone, 3D printing, and other mixed media. By omitting a specific theme, the exhibition granted artists the freedom to express their unique narratives through their individual sculptures.

Rachael Blackburn, Head of Culture at APS Bank commented, “It is indeed an honour to be supporting the work of MCCFF once again and we applaud the artists for generously donating their work to raise funds to provide critical help to those in need.”
