Dokra exhibition in aid of MCCF supported by APS Bank

APS Bank plc proudly supported the Art4MCCF exhibition ‘Dokra’, curated by Roderick Camilleri, hosted at L’Orangerie at the Grand Master’s Palace in Valletta.  Proceeds from this exhibition go towards the noble work done by the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation (MCCFF), while also promoting the work of Malta’s artistic community.

The fundraising activity builds upon the success of two previous exhibitions organised by Art4MCCF, with continued support from APS Bank. This year’s exhibition underscores the theme of conservation in an era marked by uncertainty. The choice of ‘Dokra’ as the exhibition’s title, an old Maltese noun depicting safeguarding, vigilance and protection, serves to provoke reflection on the significance of conservation and preservation.

During a private event held by APS Bank, Rachael Blackburn, Head of Culture, commented, “Tonight’s gathering offers us all a chance to immerse ourselves in art and ponder on which elements of our community and contemporary life warrant safeguarding, protection, and nurturing.”

The exhibition is open to the public, free of charge, until Sunday, 3 March 2024, between 17:00 and 19:00. Entrance is from the side façade on Old Theatre Street, Valletta. More information is available here: art4mccf.mt
