Those passing by APS Bank’s Swatar Head Office may have noticed its façade illuminated in yellow and orange. The Bank is supporting World Suicide Prevention Day by lighting up its façade in these colours until Thursday 10 September 2026, helping raise awareness and encourage greater understanding and dialogue around suicide prevention.

The initiative forms part of a wider campaign led by the Ministry for Health and the National Mental Health Services, with public buildings across Malta lighting up in yellow and orange in support of the cause.

APS Bank Head of Culture Rachael Blackburn commented: “Sometimes a simple visual can help draw attention to an important issue. By lighting our façade in yellow and orange, we are joining others across Malta in raising awareness of suicide prevention and encouraging more open conversations around it.”
