APS Bank is proud to support the first public exhibition of photography by Eddie Baker (1878–1938), offering a rare and captivating glimpse into everyday life in Malta and Gozo during the 1910s, 1920s and 1930s. More than an artistic showcase, Baker’s work provides a valuable visual record of the islands’ social, cultural and historical identity during a period of significant change.

Through workshops, guided tours, a public lecture and a dedicated publication, the project will make this overlooked chapter of Maltese history accessible to wider audiences, encourage learning and dialogue, and preserve Baker’s legacy for future generations – values that reflect the Bank’s commitment to cultural heritage, education and community engagement.
