Touch ID and Face ID introduced for myAPS mobile app.

Following last June’s successful launch of its OMNI-Channel solution ‘myAPS’, biometrics authentication has now been introduced to the myAPS mobile app in order to make it more secure and convenient.

This enhancement will enable APS customers to log in to the myAPS app through Touch ID (on iOS and Android) or Face ID (on iOS).  This means instead of inputting the app PIN, customers can now use Touch or Face ID to view their account balances, transfer money between accounts, effect transfers and bill payments, and carry out mobile payments.

Further improvements will be taking place in the near future with the aim to continue making everyday banking easy, quick and secure through myAPS”, says Jonathan Caruana, Chief Technology Officer at APS Bank.
