APS Bank organises second Townhall for 2022

On Friday 5 August 2022, APS Bank plc hosted its second Townhall for this year. The event, which was held online, included contributions from a number of staff members across three themes: business review, celebrating success, and the APS Bank employee experience.

CEO Marcel Cassar opened the event, followed by an overview of the recently announced 2022 Interim Financial Results. Several updates were provided on preparations for the 2023-2025 business planning cycle, and product development. Other updates covered the equity IPO and successful listing of June 2022, the launch of the APS credit cards, and a presentation of some memorable moments from the APS Summer Festival. A fun, 20-question trivia game with prizes was keenly contested amongst the 400 staff attending.

Finally, a pit-stop refresh of the full range of benefits to which APS Bank employees are entitled was presented, followed by the launch of the APS Bank Values Awards. The last segment also included a spotlight on the work delivered by the Operations Department with testimonials from colleagues across the Bank; and understanding of policies and processes as a vehicle to delivering our purpose. The Townhall closed with a photo collage of happy, familiar faces – colleagues enjoying an entertaining evening at the APS Summer Party held on 28 July.
