Il-Kamra Sensorja, a sensory-friendly room, will once again be available at the Malta Book Festival, taking place from Wednesday 4 to Sunday 8 November 2026 at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre (MFCC) in Ta’ Qali. The space is located on the right-hand-side, just before entering the MFCC tent through the North Entrance.
Managed by Inspire Malta, the room offers a calm and welcoming environment for children on the autism spectrum and those who may be more sensitive to sensory stimulation. Equipped with sensory resources and designed to minimise stimulation, it allows children to enjoy storytelling activities in a safe and inclusive setting.
The initiative is supported by APS Bank. With its branches certified as Autism Friendly Spaces, the Bank continues to champion accessibility and inclusion, both within its own services and by supporting initiatives that make cultural events more accessible.
