Science in the City returns this September with a programme of activities bringing science, research and creativity closer to the public, with APS Bank once again supporting the Festival. Pre-festival events will run throughout September, including activities at the APS Hub in St Julian’s from 1 to 15 September 2026, covering topics such as multisensory and interactive storytelling, dance and leisure and sensory wellbeing.
The Festival culminates at Triton Square, Valletta, on Friday, 25 and Saturday, 26 September 2026, from 18:00 to 23:00. Under this year’s theme, ‘Research, Resist, Reimagine’, more than 100 stands will bring together researchers, scientists and artists through experiments, robotics, games, hands-on activities and interactive art. As part of the Festival’s focus on inclusion, a Sensory Room will provide a calm space for visitors, with APS Bank supporting the initiative and hosting one at the APS Hub, St Julian’s during the pre-festival programme.
