APS Bank colleagues Aaron Mifsud and Darran Agius represented Malta in the athletics competitions at the World Company Sport Games, held in Frederikshavn, Denmark between Wednesday 10 and Sunday 14 June 2026. Competing against employees from companies around the world, the two colleagues secured a total of six medals across a range of track and road running events.
Aaron Mifsud, APS Bank Head of Retail, won gold in the 5,000m and the 10km road race, together with silver medals in the 800m and 1,500m events. Meanwhile, Darran Agius, APS Bank Pension Distribution Manager, earned silver medals in both the 5,000m and the 10km road race.
Commenting on the achievements, Aaron Mifsud and Darran Agius said: “Representing Malta at the World Company Sport Games was a rewarding and memorable experience. Bringing home six medals made the occasion even more special, and we are grateful for the encouragement and support of our colleagues at APS Bank.”
