APS Bank representatives recently participated in a number of speaking engagements locally and internationally, contributing to discussions on financial literacy, workplace pensions, payroll and customer experience.

On 13 and 20 April 2026, APS Bank hosted two CPE sessions focusing on the proposed Mandatory Workplace Pension Schemes Auto-enrolment Legislation. The sessions brought together finance, tax, payroll and HR professionals, company owners and business leaders to discuss the workplace auto-enrolment framework and its practical implications for organisations.

Head of Investment Distribution Kenneth Genovese and Pension Distribution Manager Darran Agius participated alongside Steve Ellul, CEO of Infrastructure Malta, Michael Agius, Tax Partner at Grant Thornton, and Jonathan Mifsud, CTO at Buddy HR. Discussions covered the proposed legislation, tax rebates and offsets, payroll considerations, and practical examples from both the private and public sectors. Both sessions were moderated by APS Bank Corporate Schemes Manager Mark Lamb and concluded with a Q&A session with attendees.

APS Bank also participated in the CX Leaders Advance 2026, organised by the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA) and held in Toronto, Canada, from 27 to 29 April 2026. Head of Customer Experience Scott Lee Holloway delivered the closing session of the three-day event, summarising the main themes and insights discussed throughout the conference, and moderated an “Ask Me Anything” panel discussion with participants. The event brought together customer experience professionals and industry leaders from various sectors to discuss emerging trends and best practices shaping the future of customer experience.

APS Bank also contributed to educational activities marking Earth Day 2026. Mr Genovese and Senior Investment Advisor Shilese Bugeja delivered a talk to Senior 1 and Senior 2 students at St Joseph Mater Boni Consili School on Wednesday 6 May 2026. The session focused on the circular economy and financial literacy, encouraging greater awareness of sustainable practices and responsible financial decision-making. Students showed strong engagement throughout the session, taking part in interactive discussions and a concluding quiz on the subjects covered.

Through these engagements, APS Bank continues to contribute to discussions and share knowledge on topics that are relevant to customers, businesses and the wider community.
