The session brought together leaders from the public and private sectors to discuss how digital transformation, innovation and long-term planning can strengthen Malta’s competitiveness.
Rodney Naudi, Head of Operational Resilience, moderated a session at the Cyber Finance Summit 2025 on Supply Chain and ICT Third-Party Risk, highlighting how resilience extends beyond individual organisations to encompass entire ecosystems. The discussion explored critical third-party dependencies, emerging regulatory requirements under DORA, and the growing sophistication of supply chain risks.
At the 3rd Client Onboarding & Digital Identity Summit in Prague, Cynthia Borg, Head of Financial Crime Compliance and MLRO, delivered a keynote on The KYC Conundrum – Overcoming the Challenges in Balancing Regulatory Obligations and Customer Experience. The session examined how technology can streamline onboarding processes while maintaining compliance, followed by a panel discussion on efficiency, outsourcing, and customer education.
Marvin Farrugia, Head of Asset Liability Management, and Astrid Tailly-Lubin, Financial Institutions Manager, attended SIBOS 2025, organised by SWIFT in Frankfurt Messe, Germany. SIBOS brings together financial institutions, technology providers and regulators to discuss global trends in payments, securities and compliance.
