APS Bank has started upgrading its ATMs to allow customers to deposit cash and cheques directly into their accounts, at any time of the day.

The upgraded machines support real-time, cash deposits, meaning funds are instantly added to the customer’s account. Customers can also deposit cheques and banknotes without using an envelope. A printed receipt with images of the deposited cheques is provided for added peace of mind.

This update marks a significant step forward in improving access to everyday banking services, especially outside normal branch hours. The new deposit service is currently available at the upgraded ATM listed here. More ATMs across Malta will follow in the coming weeks.

Gordon Gilford, Head of e-Channels at APS Bank, said: “This upgrade gives our customers more flexibility and faster service. It’s part of our ongoing work to make banking simpler and more convenient, while keeping it secure.”
