On 25 April 2025, APS Bank hosted its first Townhall of the year at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Qawra. Hundreds of colleagues filled up The Oracle Conference Centre for an engaging afternoon of updates, networking and recognition, all coordinated by the Corporate Culture team.

The event kicked off with an introduction delivered by CEO Marcel Cassar, followed by three inspiring testimonials from colleagues who shared their growth and resilience stories, and aspirations for the future. The presentations that followed covered the Bank’s 1Q2025 financial performance, the achievements of the Contact Centre team, and a behind-the-scenes look at the Support Unit’s work.

The session also included updates about key projects on the Bank’s roadmap and on the 2025–2027 business plan. One of the highlights was the Long Service Awards ceremony, where 66 employees were recognised for reaching milestones of five to thirty-five years of service with the Bank.

The afternoon concluded with a series of animated videos showing events and activities from 2024. Contributions came from several units and departments, as well as from the Bank’s Social Activities and Sports Committees.

Commenting about the Townhall, CEO Marcel Cassar said: “What defines the people and culture of APS Bank are our values, integrity and energy to innovate and grow. This is clearly reflected in the strength we’ve built over time, and how we look at the opportunities that lie ahead. All thanks to our big family of staff from so many countries, and backgrounds who, by sharing their talents and expertise, make it all happen.”
