Term Deposit Accounts

APS Bank Term Deposit accounts

Interested in depositing your funds in a simple, safe and secure account for a certain amount of time? Then Term Deposit accounts are for you!  APS Bank offers one of the most flexible term deposit solutions in Malta.

The Term Deposit accounts available are aimed at individuals willing to get into a short or long-term commitment while earning a higher interest rate than that of a normal savings or current account. The product’s simple terms strike a good balance between interest rate and duration, as well as an opportunity for individuals to diversify their savings portfolio and earn some extra return.

Funds withheld in a term deposit account may be held for a period ranging from 1 to 60 months. When the term is over money can be withdrawn or it can be held for another term. Generally speaking, the longer the term, the better the yield on the money will be. Upon the client's instructions interest can be added to capital or credited to a savings/current account.

Features included in our term deposit account:

  •     Our current term deposits are available in USD, AUD, and GBP
  •     The duration of the term deposit accounts varies from 1 year to 5 years currently
  •     Minimum deposit accounts vary according to term deposit account
  •     The interest rates offered are gross of tax and can be payable monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually or at maturity depending on the term deposit in question
