APS Bank proudly marked a strong presence at the European Company Sport Games held in Calvià, Mallorca this June. Organised by the European Federation for Company Sport, the Games saw colleagues Aaron Mifsud, Head of Retail, and Darran Agius, Private Clients Relationship Manager, achieve outstanding results in athletics.
Representing Malta in the Category C (41–50 years), Aaron and Darran contributed significantly to the country’s success, bringing home 7 of the 18 medals won by the Maltese contingent across various disciplines.
Aaron Mifsud secured an impressive five medals, claiming gold in the 5000m, 1500m, 800m, and 10km road race, as well as a silver in the 400m. His achievements stood out among competitors from across Europe. Meanwhile, Darran Agius earned two silver medals, also in the 5000m and 10km road race.
The Games were held from 25 to 29 June and brought together participants from companies across the continent to celebrate sport, wellbeing and teamwork.
