Ħolqa Festival, an international youth arts festival organised by the Department of Creative Arts and Design at Ġan Frangisk Abela Junior College, will take place between Monday 23 and Thursday 26 March 2026. The festival brings together students aged 16 to 19 presenting work across theatre, music, dance, visual and digital arts, as well as creative writing and poetry, with the support of APS Bank for the third consecutive year.

This year’s theme, ‘Shakespeare It Up!’, marks 410 years since the death of William Shakespeare and invites young artists to draw inspiration from his works through performances, art installations, workshops and an open-mic session. Featuring students from different countries, the festival offers a collaborative environment where young creatives can showcase their work and develop their artistic skills.

Jeremy Vassallo, CSR Manager at APS Bank, said: “Supporting initiatives that nurture emerging talent forms an important part of our CSR Programme, and we are pleased to continue supporting the Ħolqa Festival and the opportunities it creates for young artists.”
