APS Bank is once again supporting the Dementia Café organised by the Malta Dementia Society, a monthly initiative providing a space for people living with dementia and their families.

The sessions, held as two-hour social gatherings, explore different themes through interactive activities including games, crafts and light physical activity. The most recent session, held on Saturday 21 March 2026, focused on crafts, encouraging creative expression and social interaction. The initiative supports wellbeing, helping to reduce loneliness and promote engagement.

The Malta Dementia Society is a voluntary organisation dedicated to improving awareness, care and support for individuals living with dementia and their caregivers, while promoting education, training and collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Commenting on the initiative, APS Bank Head of Culture Rachael Blackburn said: “Supporting initiatives like the Dementia Café reflects our commitment to the communities we serve. By contributing to spaces that promote connection and wellbeing, we aim to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals and their families.”
