Change in APS Bank cheque ordering procedure

As from 8th February 2022, all newly ordered APS Bank cheque books will be mailed by post and collection from branch offices will no longer be offered. Customers who have ordered a cheque book which has not yet been collected are urged to do so by 28th February 2022.

New cheque books can be ordered through myAPS internet and mobile banking, via the ‘Accounts’ tab, or by calling the Contact Centre on (+356) 2122 6644 between Monday and Saturday, from 8am to 8pm (excluding public holidays). A request can also be placed by completing the re-order sheet available in the cheque book and retuning it to one of the Bank’s branches.

Anthony Buttigieg, Chief Banking Officer at APS Bank commented, “Customers need to ensure that we have the correct account correspondence address before ordering their cheque books. Using cheques is considered a riskier form of payment and we encourage our customers to make use of alternative methods, such as the APS VISA Debit Cards, internet and mobile payments, and direct bank transfers.”
