APS Bank continued its commitment to financial education by taking part in Illum ma’ Steph, a popular daily TV programme aired on TVM, Malta’s national broadcaster. Since October 2024, several Bank colleagues have provided practical financial tips to viewers based on their expertise.

The initiative formed part of APS Bank’s ongoing efforts to promote financial literacy within the wider community, helping people better understand everyday banking topics.

APS colleagues took turns covering different areas. Sinclair Cassar, Senior Branch Manager, explained basic banking concepts, including types of accounts and loans. Shelaine Falzon, Business Development Manager, and Kenneth Genovese, Head of Investment Distribution, introduced viewers to investment basics. The final session featured Rodney Naudi, Head of Operational Resilience, who shared valuable insights on staying safe while using online banking services – a timely and relevant topic.

Aida Cassola, Brand & Marketing Manager at APS Bank, said:
“We believe that clear, reliable financial guidance should be accessible to everyone. Sharing our knowledge through national media is one of the ways we support our community.”

Stephanie Spiteri, host of Illum ma’ Steph, commented:
“It’s always a pleasure to welcome APS Bank to the show – their advice is helpful, down-to-earth, and appreciated by our audience.”

The segments were well-received and are available to rewatch on the APS Bank Facebook page.
