APS Bank representatives participated in a series of engagements during mid-March 2026, contributing to discussions around financial literacy, inclusion and long-term financial planning.
On Friday 13 March 2026, Head of Customer Experience Scott Lee Holloway delivered a lecture on Financial Literacy at the University of Malta, as part of a collaboration with the Malta Bankers’ Association and the University’s Head of Department for Banking, Finance and Investments, Dr Robert Suban.
On Saturday 14 March, APS Bank participated in a well-attended investment masterclass organised by financial coach Patrick Debattista at the Salini Hotel. Corporate Schemes Manager Mark Lamb contributed to the session with a focus on pension and effective retirement planning, highlighting recent legislative changes raising the tax-exempt pension income threshold to €37,000 per year during retirement, and emphasising the importance of maximising long-term contributions.
Mr Holloway also hosted a webinar for educators on Tuesday 17 March 2026 titled ‘Services for Neurodivergent Customers: Autism Friendly Banking’. Delivered as part of European Money Week in collaboration with the Malta Bankers’ Association and the Ministry for Education, the session highlighted APS Bank’s Autism Friendly certification – the first and only bank to receive this recognition – as an example of best practice in serving neurodivergent customers, building on ongoing work with Prisms and the CRPD.
APS Bank was also represented on Friday 20 March on Flusek on Net TV, where Chief Financial Officer Ronald Mizzi provided an overview of the Bank’s financial results and dividend recommendation for FY2025. Mr Mizzi also highlighted key aspects of the strategy going forward into 2026 and the future years.
