APS Bank participated in a series of external engagements during October and November 2025, contributing to national discussions on governance, housing, education and operational resilience.  

Richard Scerri, Head of Internal Audit, joined the IIA Malta Conference Elevating Trust – The Impact of Internal Audit at Xara Lodge, Rabat. He took part in a panel on Strategy and Internal Audit alongside Jesmond Gatt, the Chair of MFSA, Kevin J Rapinett, Group CEO of Halmann Vella Group and Giselle Borg from KPMG, in a seminar attended by practitioners from major banks and financial service providers.

Denise Azzopardi, Product Portfolio Manager, spoke at the national conference Id-Dar t’Għada, discussing APS Bank’s collaboration with the Housing Authority and the Foundation for Affordable Housing, and the importance of financial literacy within current social schemes. Denise Azzopardi also contributed to the launch of StudentAssist, at the Malta Development Bank. APS Bank has been selected as one of two intermediaries for this blended-finance product supporting access to higher education. 

Shana Micallef, Security Governance Manager and Kimberly Borg, Senior Operational Resilience Officer participated as panel speakers at the BCI World Hybrid Conference in London, sharing APS Bank’s perspective on moving from compliance to assurance in operational resilience.
