During July 2025, APS Bank colleagues took part in local and international events, sharing their expertise on sustainability, the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and employment law.

Matthew Swain, Head of Sustainability, attended a meeting at Castille as part of the Malta ESG Alliance (MESGA) Board, alongside members of the Consultative Council for Future Generations (CCFG) and Youth SDG leaders. The event included the presentation of a sustainability manifesto, also lodged with the United Nations, to Prime Minister Robert Abela. Each participating CEO and youth leader presented an SDG and discussed how it could be implemented in Malta. The meeting also showcased youth-created artwork promoting sustainability, now displayed on an electric bus in Malta.

Darran Agius, Private Clients Relationship Manager, joined a panel at a Ten Yards Legal webinar titled “Staying Ahead – Employment Law Changes”. The discussion explored upcoming employment legislation, including the Transparency Pay Act and developments in occupational pensions, with the proposed changes expected to reach Parliament later this year.

Ray Bonnici, Chief People Officer at APS Bank, said: “Seeing our colleagues take part in such important forums shows how their expertise can influence discussions in the community and beyond. Their contributions help position APS Bank as an active voice in shaping a sustainable and fair future.”
