APS Bank celebrated the winners of its 2025 Values Awards during the November Townhall, recognising colleagues who consistently demonstrate the behaviours that bring the Bank’s values to life and strengthen its culture.

The annual Values Awards provide an opportunity for colleagues to acknowledge peers who live the Bank’s values in their day-to-day work. This year, six awards were presented following an internal evaluation process, reflecting both exceptional impact and authentic leadership across the Bank.

The Excellence Value Award was presented to Mary Ann Vella, Senior Business Risk and Control Manager, for setting high standards and delivering with consistency and care. Two awards were presented under the Authenticity value. Daniel Cassar, Head of Project Delivery and Janice Harvey, Assistant Branch Manager were recognised for their authentic and values-led leadership and contributions. The Passion Value Award was awarded to Dr Graziella Grech, Senior Advances Legal Manager, for her energy and commitment to acting as brand ambassador, while the Inclusion Value Award went to Ishmael Mizzi, Assistant Portfolio Manager, for championing respect and diverse perspectives. The Contemporary Value Award was presented to Raphael Sammut, Senior Data Analyst, for embracing change and forward-looking thinking.

Commenting on the awards, Rachael Blackburn, Head of Culture, said: “Our values shape how we work and collaborate, driving strong performance across the Bank. These colleagues exemplify how living our values translates into positive impact and sustainable results every day.”
