APS Bank proudly supported the University of Malta’s Research Innovation and Development Trust (RIDT) as the main sponsor for the APS Bank Valletta Campus Nights – a cultural mini-festival aimed at celebrating music and the arts. The series, which ran from June to August 2025, brought together the community in support of research and innovation in Malta.

The festival featured three unique events:

  • 12 June 2025: Sacred Arias – A classical evening with organ and tenor performances at the Oratorju tal-Onorati, Valletta.
  • 7 July 2025: a jazz tribute night honouring the legacy of Charles ‘City’ Gatt at the Valletta Campus Theatre, which also happened to be the opening of this year’s Malta Jazz Festival.
  • 7 August 2025: a tango-themed evening, culminating in a lively Milonga at the Valletta Campus Theatre.

Jeremy Vassallo, CSR Manager at APS Bank, commented: “It’s been a privilege for us to support this initiative that connects culture, community, and research. The APS Bank Valletta Campus Nights were a perfect example of how the arts can bring people together, while also supporting RIDT in the brilliant work they are doing”

Through this collaboration, the University and RIDT aimed to foster creativity, connect the local community, and further the development of research and innovation in Malta.
