APS Bank continues to support its team members who actively take part in competitive sports by awarding sport sponsorships to six colleagues for 2025.
This year’s selected athletes were Aaron Mifsud, Clyde Sciberras, Gabriel Cassar Torregiani, and Graziella Dimech, who all compete in running at different levels. They were joined by Gabriella Mangion, an obstacle course racing (OCR) athlete, and Luke Rocco, who practises karate.
Their selection was based on a mix of factors, including their commitment to training, past performance, national rankings, and the level of competition they engage in.
This initiative, led by the Bank’s Sports Committee, reflects APS Bank’s ongoing efforts to promote wellness at work and recognise individual achievements in sport.
Etienne Micallef, Secretary of the Sports Committee, said:
“It’s encouraging to see our colleagues take their sporting passions seriously, often competing at a high level. Supporting them through this sponsorship is one way we can celebrate their drive and inspire others.”
