APS Bank, in collaboration with the Richmond Foundation, recently held the third session in their 2025 mental health webinar series. The online event, titled “Peace of Mind in Retirement: Managing the shift from work to retirement”, was aimed at members of the APS Occupational Pension Scheme and focused on maintaining mental wellbeing during the transition into retirement.

During the one-hour session, participants explored the emotional and psychological aspects of retirement and discussed practical strategies for building balance and resilience in this new life stage.

“Through these webinars, we aim to support participants in preparing not only financially but also emotionally for retirement,” said Mark Lamb, Corporate Schemes Manager, APS Bank. “Our collaboration with the Richmond Foundation continues to promote wellbeing across all stages of working life.”

These mental health awareness webinars form part of a wider wellbeing initiative available to members of the APS Occupational Pension Scheme – a second pillar retirement arrangement.
