About this event

The 33rd talk of the APS talks series, ‘Let's talk about obesity!’, will be presented by Mr Predrag Andrejevic on Thursday 2 May 2024 at 18:30.

Register to join this talk where Mr Andrejevic will unravel the complexity of obesity—a multifaceted phenomenon that touches lives worldwide, regardless of country or culture.
The session will help to connect the dots, shedding light on how obesity affects us all and emphasising the crucial role each of us plays in combating it. He will challenge outdated notions and pave the way for real, meaningful change in both our health and wider societal systems.

Mr Andrejevic will explore preventive measures, treatment options, and the who, when, how, and where of addressing this pressing issue.

Together, we can create a better outlook for obesity and the 1.9 billion people predicted to be living with it by 2035. Because this is one target we want to miss.
