APS Bank launches APS Check-in

To ensure that all customer information held by the Bank is up to date and accurate, APS Bank is launching the "APS Check-in" initiative. This is a mandatory review where the Bank is “checking in” with all its customers to confirm their data held with the Bank is correct. Both personal and corporate customers will need to conduct this review. The benefits of this include timely and relevant communication between the Bank and its customers and keeping our customers’ funds safe against financial crime. This review also forms part of the Bank’s regulatory obligations.

Customers will receive a letter over the coming days outlining the simple steps to complete their data review. The whole process should take approximately 20 minutes to complete and needs to be effected within 10 days of receiving the letter from the Bank.

Giovanni Bartolotta, Chief Risk Officer at APS Bank, explained “As one of the largest banks on the Maltese islands, it is of vital importance for the Bank to keep its database of customer information updated and as current as possible. This will help us to continue delivering an optimal service to our customers and better tailor our product offering to their current circumstances”.
