APS Bank has launched automated appointment booking through its APS Virtual Assistant (AVA), available on the Bank’s website. This new feature allows prospective customers to schedule onboarding appointments online, at any time of day.
The system enables users to view available slots and book appointments in real time. Once a booking is made, customers receive a confirmation email outlining the details for their reference. The functionality is already live, with early usage showing strong uptake and positive results.
For now, the automated booking option is limited to onboarding appointments for new-to-bank customers. However, work is underway to extend this service to other appointment types in the near future.
The initiative was the result of a collaborative effort between APS Bank’s Customer Experience and Innovation teams, working closely with colleagues across the Banking function.
