APS Bank’s 2019 Calendar Highlights It’s Time to Care

The Bank’s 2019 Calendar focuses on the environment and features winning photographs from this year’s ‘Time to Care’ photo competition.

The new 2019 Calendar by APS Bank features the winning photographs from its ‘Time to Care’ photo competition held earlier this year.

The Bank’s annual inspirational calendar is designed to highlight local issues and to inspire people to take action and, for 2019, the images included in the calendar depict the way humans have had an adverse impact on the local environment.

“While building awareness and inspiring people to take action to protect the places we live in by championing projects like the ‘Time to Care’ calendar, APS is also showing our commitment to the wellbeing of future generations,” says APS Bank’s Head of Strategy & Marketing, Hervé Delpech.

The images for the calendar were selected from the ‘Time to Care’ photo competition, with entrants requested to submit photos that are directly related to the theme of environmental awareness in the Maltese islands. More than 110 photographs were submitted and adjudged by a panel composed of professional photographer Kevin Casha, Dr Mark C Mifsud, Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Environmental Education & Research, University of Malta, professional photographer and IT Service Manager Jeffrey Cassar, Hervé Delpech, and ex-APS Director Frederick Micallef, who shares with the project his passion for photography.
