IFS Awards ceremony recognises APS staff members’ achievements



Eight APS Bank staff members who successfully completed courses delivered by the Institute of Financial Services, were presented with certificates on Friday, April 13th, at Xara Lodge in Rabat.


The annual IFS ceremony, attended by prize-winners, their relatives and key banking practitioners, kicked off with a welcome address by IFS President Kenneth B. Micallef.

A keynote address by Chairman of Education Consultative Council, Dr John Consiglio, followed, encouraging students to never stop learning. From left to right: Terrence Seychell, Natasha Grech, Shelaine Cassar, Jeremy Noah Agius, Kenneth B. Micallef, Profs. John Mamo, Dr John Consiglio, Jessica Gravina Zammit, Audrey Cassar Camilleri, Marcel Cassar, Ray Bonnici, James Duca. The APS cohort and their achievements for 2017 consisted of:

• Jeremy Noah Agius – BSc (Hons) in Banking Practice and Management

• Annis Stellini – Professional Diploma in Banking Practice and Management

• Terrence Seychell – Diploma in Investment Advice

• Jessica Gravina Zammit – Diploma in Fund Administration

• Audrey Cassar Camilleri – Certificate for Documentary

• Credit Specialist Natasha Grech – Professional Bankers’

• Certificate Shelaine Cassar - Course in Maltese Financial Regulation (1st in course)

• James Duca – Course in Maltese Financial Regulation


APS Bank was also the sponsor of a cash prize for the top student in the Professional Bankers course, which this year went to Maria Scerri. “We are especially proud to be recognising our staff members on attaining such great results in their academic journey and we are convinced that this will likewise reflect well in their respective careers,” said Ray Bonnici, APS Bank’s Head of Human Capital.
