APS Bank CEO interviewed by Economic Vision 2017


Despite the many challenges currently facing the financial services sector, "APS Bank has been enjoying its fair share of the expanding economic activity", said APS Bank CEO Marcel Cassar when being interviewed for Economic Vision 2017.

Cassar stated that this is a result of ambitious business and strategic goals, backed up by a positive 2016 performance, and the transformation the Bank is undertaking, particularly in its personal, retail and commercial segments: "there is both the capacity and the appetite to do more - the bank is on a growth trajectory, cautiously but surely".

APS Bank's CEO was one of the industry leaders interviewed by Martina Said on how local banks are adapting to a sustained low interest rate, environment, a transformed regulatory framework, increased compliance requirements and the role of the Malta Development Bank, amongst other topics.
